Community Benefit & Diversity
The Community Benefit and Diversity department in the Summa Foundation leads efforts to address health disparities and other important community needs, and to raise awareness of health and healthcare issues affecting the communities served by Summa Health System.
This innovative department is dedicated to providing wellness and educational tools, facilitating economic development programs, developing community partnerships, communicating Summa’s benefit to the community, and engaging the community and Summa’s workforce within the system and throughout the community.
For more information about Summa’s community benefit efforts, contact Roxia Boykin, vice president of community benefit and diversity, at (330) 375-6522 or [email protected].
We are excited to present the Summa Health System Community Benefit Report!
Summa is inspired by the inherent philanthropic belief that we can have a transformational impact on the lives of those we serve. Our community benefit report illustrates only a portion of Summa’s philanthropic commitment to Northeast Ohio. Our community health programs, community building efforts, charity care and in-kind contributions are all focused on stimulating better health in Northeast Ohio by emphasizing wellness and prevention.
